That seems like the sort of thing that, given the resources, I'd do for my wife. And I'd not be looking for particular recompense.

Sometimes, you do the big gift to see the recipients eyes light up, and the smile grow, and that's enough.

The other thing you can do is a gift you can't tell him about. Remember what he did here. Remember how thoughtful it was, and how much effort it took. And when he does something that really cheeses you off - remember what he did, and let it pass.

Now this has been the best suggestion I have heard thus far ... not that I would know anything about all this, not being married and all, but it seems the best.

Ok here is tha deal. My husband got me a car for christmas. It is a 1994 camaro convirtable.One I allways wanted. He gave it to me tha other day. I am stunned, but I have no idea what to get him or what to do for him....I feel so awful...Help please men, what should I do for him I need ideas...I would get him something for his computer, but he is so pickey on that stuff. any help at all would be great

I think you might be missing the point.
