Destiny's Tears: Champions of Arris

*After searching around, they all meet up. In total, Mhrazhar found an auction for a beautiful jeweled bird, and Alire was able to uncover a black market that trades in narcotics. Abdiel found some more Larakese--tourists out and about, and a few dock workers and salesmen. None of them were the targets as far as he could tell.*

(OOC: Mhrazhar doesn't know what that means. Fortunately, Zykovian figured it out Those messages written in Mojiin blood on the walls were spread out in such a way that if you drew lines from kill to kill on the map, it spelled the Mojiin rune for Nemesis. She wanted to meet Mhrazhar at Nemesis's End, but instead she met Zykovian and escaped)

Mhrazhar hisses as he sees that they are not getting anywhere really, really fast. His eyes burn with anger at the lack of progress towards their goal. They are so close to the Crazan Arris and yet so incapable of finding it, It is no wonder that he was unable to find the Praetorian in Eldiz, for he lacks the skills, form, and mind set for such delicate work amongst these Taij harboring humanoids.

The Mojiin sighs forcefully with no relief apparent on his face. "Let us go to the decadent side of this Arris forsaken rock to search for our quarry. If we have to get a room there we can, and will want to update the note we left at the inn as well. We can spend the remainder of the night there looking and listening, hoping to catch sight of them. Do we have any divination magic at our disposal, Sisters? We could give that a try as well?"

[OOC: GAAAAAAAHHHHHhhhhhh!!!! I missed this chance for vindication!! Curse you Rystil!!!! Curse you and your wonderful game! AAARRRRRrrrrggghhhhhh!!!!! :p ;) :D]

"I can locate objects but not people, but based on Selar, we know that the Crazan Arris is being obscured. I did try that yesterday anyway and it failed. If we knew of some other very specific object on them, we could search for that, but if they have something that prevents scrying, well, my simple magic is unlikely to work. I am sorry."

"We will not fail, Sister. Our cause is just."

*They move to the upscale area in Varylys and search for their targets as best they can. In a place this size, they would likely run into a target eventually by chance unless the targets were being careful to avoid notice, though with ninjas, this latter seemed likely. After leaving word at the second inn about their new third inn, thus creating a trail of three hops from the docks that is difficult for any enemies to follow, they set about their search. Scouting about the area, listening in on suspicious conversations, and peeking into darkened corners might begin to get them funny looks, but it unfortunately does not reveal their hidden quarries, at least this night. Fortunately, they probably still have at least a little more time before a client reaches the comet according to Alire, who talked to a few people here who mentioned that they would soon be reaching the point in the comet's orbit closest to the edge of the Sphere that leads out to Arris, and that seems the perfect rendezvous point for a client.*

(OOC: Bwahahaha! :])

Mhrazhar is not comforted by Alire's words. He forces a smile through his irritation at not having the skills, and thinking of himself a fool for thinking that he would have a chance to hunt down someone in a city. "Sisters, we do not seem to have a lot of options. Alire, you can watch the older Larakese couple as I am still wary of them. Abdiel and I shall watch the docks for new ships coming in and shall look for Valsians or anything else suspicious that comes into town as we are coming close to Arris. Hopefully we can catch sight of the buyers there.

I am really hoping that the rest of the group can get here before we reach the closing point for Arris. Wishful thinking, I know!
"

*Alire nods and moves out, as Mhrazhar and Abdiel patrol the docks diligently. By the end of the day, however, they do not see any suspicious Valsians. Then again, they haven't quite reached the close point to Arris yet.*

*We will keep patroling and once Alire has had some sort of a hard confirmation with the Elder couple she can roam about the upscale area's and we will stay about the docks!*

*They continue patrolling the next day, only to be interrupted when Alire reports back:*

"I talked to the Larakese couple, and I'm pretty much certain they aren't our perps. However, I did discover something that might be useful. Apparently, there's a place called the Dark Moon Tavern that someone mentioned in idle conversation. Now, when I heard it, I could swear I've heard that name before--can you place it?"

"Dark Moon Tavern? Hmm.. It does not sound familiar. Lets go check it out! We still have time before we come in close proximity to Arris."

*We will head to the Dark Moon Tavern and check it out. Alire wil go in as Mojiin, unfortunately, will attract attention. :( I hate doing this because the PC should be the one going in! Ack! :) I will detect out side and watch from the shadows over those that come and go.*

"Are you sure? I could swear..."

*Alire nods and heads to the Dark Moon Tavern while the Mojiin continue to watch the ships. They notice a few ships coming in at once. One is fleet and agile, and those who disembark include a few that Abdiel and Mhrazhar recognise--Vhrys and Zykovian among them.*

(OOC: And now...we wait :))
