As I said they are far more Ancient Greek than MM but I do believe that even the MM can take an interest in engaging other races... They do not have the favor text in the SRD and it might have been removed in 3rd edition... but it did use to be there.
 

As for the greek nymphs, AFAIK those 'were' divine beings, or not?
And yeah, the SRD has no text, but the MM does. :)

Anyways, not that this really matters. :)
