Is anyone ready to run an adventure? I'd be happy to integrate some aspects of the adventure into my PC's background. I've found that in my best games, my PC's background relates the long-term plot. While that may not be possible in a persistant world, it might be nice to have a little something in there.

Erekose mentioned he might run the Forgotten Forge. I might think about an adventure as well.

I've started the Character thread. Anything that needs to be done?
A few things I noticed:
- This is on the normal Rogues Gallery superthread. Will Living Eberron get its own superthread?
- Hobgoblins at LA +0 are not mentioned (actually, none of the monster-as-PC races are explicitly mentioned).
- The fact that the round up/round down is character level based and not class level based was not mentioned.

I'm sure it will, but until then, we can use Talking the Talk and Playing the Game.

I'll fix those.

So, Bront, you ready to be the only character judge for now? Unless Rystil reconsiders about being only a proposal judge.
I was going to list him as one anyway :p

I've been typing up the character thread, almost have it ready to put up. Will have it up on monday.

Guess you beat me too it :p

Regarding starting character level, why not just leave it open from 3rd to 1st, I don't think it would be much harm in the long run. Options over restrictions in my mind. Plus, it also gives the characters some established history that could be worked into our living world.

If you want another judge, I'd be interested, although you'd have to let me know a bit of what it entailed.

We're going to leave 1st to 3rd open eventually, but since we're only allowing 1 character for each player to start, choosing all at 1st level will help everyone find a group, particularly if we run starter modules.

We're keeping it somewhat open, but if most people create 3rd level characters, then the 1st level ones that a few people do create get left in the cold fairly quickly. So a forced mix is nice, and leads from new to established adventurers.

And as far as extra judges, we'll keep an eye out for new potential ones, but the first 3 we have now should do us good till we get moving.
