Bah, Erekose is right. All my variants on the final encounter will either result in a 90% chance of TPK or make the fight so easy it'll rob it of the fun. So all in all I think I'll hold of Steel Shadows for now. Still I said I'd do an adventure so I think I'll try my hand at concocting something original.

I have three ideas I've been kicking around in my head, so I thought I'd put it to a vote! Which is it going to be?:

1) A tale concerning dragonmarks, curses, ancient feuds and mind shattering horrors from the dark beyond set in the catacombs beneath Sharn. This adventure will probably be restricted to dragonmarked PCs and warforged for reasons that will become apparent.

2) A game of greed, danger, treachery and general debauchery as the PCs are required to defuse a hostage situation with the lives of the cities spoiled (but fabulously wealthy) young elite on the line.

3) A chronicle of sneaking and skullduggery. Theft is the name of the game in this little vignette. Naturally this one will be restricted to non-lawful PCs who don't mind trampling on a few laws to get the job done and those who can pass the occaisional Move Silently check.

So which will it be?

I'd love to get Kae into either 2) or 3) if you run em. Though 3) might be a little more iffy, since she's not reeaaally much of a sneakthief. She's got a good Dex mod, but no ranks. That said, she *is* a great con artist, and her moral compass points dead-on due 'trampling on a few laws to get the job done'. Or, y'know, just for fun. So maybe it'd be ok, dunno.

1) on the other hand sounds like a blast, but... well, Kae's not dragonmarked or Warforged. Or dragonblooded. So yeah, never mind.

Of course I could always just try to jump on ajanders' plot hook instead. :)

Kenn likes 2 best, but might get involved in 3. Depends on what laws are being broken and why.

As for my adventure hook, I have two DM approvals. As one location and some NPC's will become public after this, I think I probably need three approvals.
Only one more...

Okay, given that Ajanders game will probably occupy the other voters here, I've begun writing up the submission for option one, a story for the dragon-touched (and warforged but primarily focused around dragonmarks) I'm tentatively calling "Mark of Tragedy". It should be ready for submission by monday night.

Too bad Weapon's in a stalled game; sounds like fun.

But it does beg the question how many folks are in the tavern that would be appropos for the game?

Well to be honest if I can't rope enough characters into it I can alter the story a little to allow any character to join. I just wanted to keep it to dragonmark/prophecy related individuals at first because it's more thematically appropriate for what I've got planned. Should it become to inconvenient it's not something I can't work around, though the storyline is dependent on there being at last one PC with a pure dragonmark.

Cool, I'll ignore it then :)

(I read Ajander's proposal, so didn't want to go in that one).

I do believe I'm about to need a judge, if anyone can spare me some time...
Sure

If you have any more details than the proposal, send them my way :)
