Could someone close the old tavern thread? I've opened a new one, but can't seem to figure out how to close it with the LEB Judge account.

The LEB Judge account does not have the power to close a thread. Only one being on all the PbP forums has that kind of power. You can recognise this from the viking hat.

They have not been approved; someone (you? ) would have to do so.

I suppose I should have clarified my concern. The Erudite is a variant Psion from the XPH, I believe. Of course, the XPH is approved material, but I was wondering whether rules variants would really qualify as being approved without being singled out.

Erudite is in Comple Psi, not the XPH, thus my note.
