Devil's Plow - Leaving Ironcraig

"Oy. Whats goin on dere?" Jonath mumbles. He slowly stands up, curiousity beginning to fill in him. Sure, curiousity killed the cat, but dwarves tend to be tougher than kittens. Not to mention more stubborn. He wanders over to where he heard the noise with his greatsword held to his side.

Okay, sorry, I was waiting for a response to the dwarf. Apparently, though, we're waiting on me.

Unauthorized personnel will be shot. This means you!

Taking the utmost care to remain silent and out of sight, Troll creeps into the camp to recapture his gear.

Yeah, I know...it's kind of anti-dramatic after all the waiting. What can you do?
[/sblock]

Not a problem.

For Psychotic (side note: drop the aLtErNaTiNg CaPs, plz):

[sblock]The holy warrior spots a bit of movement a ways above the camp, though in the darkness even his dwarven eyes can make out no useful details.[/sblock]

Komodo only:
[sblock]Troll inadvertantly shows himself above the rocks for a brief moment before stealthily descending the mountainside and slinking into camp. Taking cover behind sleeping persons, horses, and rocks, he makes his way to a saddle and a number of bags, most likely containing his posessions.[/sblock]

Ringmereth only:

[sblock]
Again taking care not to make any noise, the hobgoblin starts looking briefly into each bag, trying to locate the one containing his equipment.
[/sblock]

For Ringmereth. About the caps, you can go to hell. :)
[sblock]Jonath stands up and begins to investigate. His senses told him something was wrong and his curiousity even more wanted to know what it was. If it was a rabbit or something it'd make a nice breakfast, but if it was something more, perhaps it'd be best to check it out.[/sblock]

For Psychotic:
[sblock]The dwarf stares with eyes evolved to see in the darkest of caverns, but spots nothing amiss on the mountainside. [/sblock]

For Komodo:
[sblock]Troll quickly finds his equipment, packed away in several of the bags. As he begins to retrieve the equipment, he notes that while his practical possessions are all present, his coin is not.[/sblock]

For Ringmereth, blah, blah, blah...

[sblock]
Scowling in the darkness, Troll scoops up his gear, puts on what he can, and makes his way carefully back to the cover of the boulder, keeping his eyes open for the dwarf's return.

If Jonath's coming back, he runs the other way towards the nearest cover in the other direction.
[/sblock]

Ringmereth...
[sblock]Jonath quietly turns around, walking back to the camp and resuming his watch. Prolly just a durned rabbit or somethin.[/sblock]

Jonath turns back to the campsite, hoping for another few hours of calm and quiet watch duty. His hopes are shattered at the sight of the party's goblinkin prisoner hunched over near the horses, quietly donning a suit of armor. The paladin and the scout's eyes meet in the dark, but before either can act, the camp's peaceful quiet is shattered.

Two arrows whistle out of the darkness of the mountain, sailing swiftly into the camp. One thuds into the tree a few feet from Troll, startling the hobgoblin. A second whistles in a moment later, flying truer than the last. Jonath's luck did not serve him as well; he felt a sharp sting as the arrow creased the paladin's forehead, leaving a line of blood across his brow. The pair turn to the mountain, from whence came the arrows, but fail to see their source.

Jonath takes 6 VP damage; 24 VP and 12 WP remain.

Komodo:
[sblock]You've donned your chain shirt; pick 4 other objects from your inventory. If you want to grab more, you'll need to spend actions doing so.[/sblock]
