dragoncon
Paladin:
It often surprises me when someone mentions they havent heard of DragonCon. I guess because its not really a gaming convention specifically, just a convention at which games are played.
DragonCon is the big convention in the south every year. Its more than just games, its a big scifi/fantasy thing too, so the actual gamer percentage is a bit lower than GenCon etc. About 20,000 people attend though, and nearly all of them visit the dealer's hall at some point. The con rents out an old macy's or something and sets up all the booths there, its usually two stories worth of people selling things.
Fun stuff, at least for the south =)
