Dice bags from The Gamer's Bag(TM): Now with New Materials!

dragoncon

Paladin:

It often surprises me when someone mentions they havent heard of DragonCon. I guess because its not really a gaming convention specifically, just a convention at which games are played.

DragonCon is the big convention in the south every year. Its more than just games, its a big scifi/fantasy thing too, so the actual gamer percentage is a bit lower than GenCon etc. About 20,000 people attend though, and nearly all of them visit the dealer's hall at some point. The con rents out an old macy's or something and sets up all the booths there, its usually two stories worth of people selling things.

Fun stuff, at least for the south =)

Actually it is I, Paladinwife, that is not very well versed in the ways of the gaming world...but after 4 years, I'm catching on, and don't worry, we will definately be looking into it for next year! In the mean time, the taloncomics.com site should be up this week for ordering!!!!

The Gamer's Bag(TM) NOW AVAILABLE!!!

Woo-hoo!:D

Derek has a few of our pages up, and is adding the rest as fast as he can. Check them out!

We'd appreciate any feedback on our fabric selection, right now we offer over 80 varieties. We will be offering leather and chain mail on a Special Order basis. We can monogram virtually any design you can think of, as well as your initials!

EDIT: We now have over 80 fabrics!

Very nice :)

It's all clear and easy to follow. I really like the elements selection myself. :D

[Edit: as an afterthought. It might be nice to have an example of what the monogram looks like, and a rough idea of how many dice fit into the different sized bags (assuming the dice are all the same, standard sort of size). Just my two pence worth.]

'soon as ya get the leather section up, I'll place my order :)

How do I make a custom order though? (Like I discussed... an image monogram instead of just a normal letter, and grommets even on a non-jumbo bag)

Derek is working as fast as he can and a Special Order page will be up soon for all custom orders (including leather)!!!! He will also have monogram pics, bag pics and individual bag info. Also, thanks to all of your interest, we will be doing all bags with grommets, (with the exception of the Tiny because I haven't found grommets small enough to work...YET!) at no extra charge. We should be able to handle your signet with no problems, btw.

Leather Options

We have the following leather choices, for those interested:

Rust
Beige
Black
Taupe (dark khaki)
Tomato Red
Chocolate (espresso) Brown
Aqua (turqouise)
Ivory (off white)
Cobalt blue
Forest Green
Gold

Limited availability (they're discontinuing them):
Royal Purple
Pewter (gray)

This leather is premium velvet suede, 1.5 to 2 ounce weight. Durability is equal to denim, but it is soft and supple, yet tough. We should have the leather swatches up at www.taloncomics.com/gamersbag.html soon. Until then follow the link to see nearly half of our fabric choices already there! (Derek's working hard to get the rest up as soon as possible!)

The scale patterns, are they textured or just print? They look nice. As do the elements.
The scales are print with a textured treatment added to the material. They actually look like scale (they appear to glisten) in the light when you move the material. It's kinda hard to describe the fabric really, but it's cool. We have some more scale that isn't online yet that has real texture to it, but I don't want anyone thinking this is real snakeskin! We also will have some dragon scale patterns online soon that have no texture at all, but look very nice.

We will try to get a monogramming example up soon.

Okay, after a bag stuffing experiment, the bags can hold the following amounts of dice:

Tiny- 3 sets of mini-dice, or 1 set of Dwarven Stones.
Small- Holds up to 70 dice.
Medium- Holds up to 225 dice.
Royal- Holds up to 300 dice.
