Good point about diceless games being more plot oriented. My perception is that dice-based games don't allow drama all that well (although this is from my grognard days of roleplaying).
Marvel SAGA used cards partially as randomizers, partially for drama. I liked the system, but with a ranting 12 year old kid, I'll just roll on a @#$% chart.
Baron Munshausen is a competitive storytelling game that uses tokens and bidding to resolve plots.
Soap: The RPG uses plot tokens to contest other's storytelling (especially when your character gets the short end of the story
And, of course, there's Once Upon a Time.
Personally, I think "dice only" rpg'ers are missing out. Storytelling can be quite fun, even if it's not traditional roleplaying.
