So the party sorcerer meets all the prereqs for and begins taking levels in Divine Oracle (DotF) at level one he gains a domain with its attendent power does he also get knowledge of the domain spells?

Perhaps. Or perhaps you could rule it the same as dragons who can cast some divine spells as arcane.

He gets the option of picking the spells he can know from that list as well.

Yes they are added to his known spell list.

I'll let somebody with the correct Dragon issue quote the sage on this one.

It's actually explained on page 77 of DotF.

Any non-Divine caster who gains acces to a domain gets the use of the domain ability, and the domain spells are scribed into their spellbook (Wizards) or added to their spells known (Sorcerer or Bard).

Well thank you very much my droogies.

Not a bad payoff for any diviner type, since you'd take the Ranks in Scry anyway. So a domain for a feat very nice indeed.

Say what? You had to burn up class levels, abandoning your sorcerer for a time, just to get it. What's the problem?

You still get full spellcasting progression, so it's hardly 'burning up class levels'.
They also get more hit points, and other special abilities.

Geoff.
