ALso, thanks for reminding me that most old people unlike snor are indeed old farts who need to be put in a rocket and shot into the sun. Thanks again for insulting senor my friend of many years. If I ever meet you in person-and you can print this out as proof- I'm going to smash your face in with a shovel. Nice job of stereotyping all "kids" as juvenile and disgusting" You know what, I've never met you but you're over 20 so you must be smelly and balding and forget your children's names all the time...

There are rants and then there are "rants". If you want to get something off of your chest, Enworld's a pretty cool place to do it - there are a lot of cool and different people on these boards who will sympathise with your rant. However, these rants generally have a point.

With your rant though, there is very little to sympathise with. Originally it sounded more as if you were overly hyped up, a mixture of too many hormones mixed with coke or red cordial. With the above though, you have ventured into the realms of giving offense to people. I suggest to you that you look at the rules of this forum. If you find them too restrictive to how you wish to behave, please find another forum.

THanks, I'll definetly look at the rules, and in the future try to restrict my outbursts and appear more civilized. However, I do not retract my statements I won't sit by while people patronize me.

You see that's the difference. You are supposed to ignore that sort of stuff. You don't have to answer back. Effectively as Morrus so succinctly put it, don't try to win.

On another note, I am an "old fart" by your standards (32 years of age) so take the following with a grain of salt. In relation to suicide, at our work two months ago, a guy suicided after dealing with severe depression for a while. As I work in a small office (about 8 employees) it hit everyone pretty hard. To then see his young children having to deal with this situation was absolutely heart-wrenching. Now I'm not going to say how I was "offended" by your character suiciding because I wasn't. It just came across as a kid being childish, talking about things they don't have the fullest concept of. Hell, even I don't have the fullest concept of it. The thought of a guy purchasing a rope at 3:08pm on a chilly Sunday afternoon at the local hardware store to be used the following morning totally does my head in. However, I'm sure there are other people on this board who have had to deal with suicide and depression too. Life is too short, brittle and fleeting. As such, I hope you understand why your actions in the orginal post appeared trite, childish and without a full understanding of what you were talking about. Other posters have simply reacted to that.
