Did You Buy the First Three 4e Core Books?

I went to my FLGS at midnight on release night and got the slip-case set...regretted it, not because I don't like the game but because a) the FLGS overcharged everyone that night by about $10 and b) WotC sent me another set of the core books a couple of weeks later.

As for liking it or not, I find it easy to run and I really like the fluff of this edition...but my tabletop group isn't really keen on it.

So, I run it via play-by-post.

No, I didn't. I read through the PHB when I got the opportunity, but it didn't really grab me. I would give it a try if someone else were the DM, but no takers yet. My lack of enthusiasm might play a role in this ;).

I still like SWSE though.

No, but only because I'm waiting on corrected printings with all of the errata included.

[Edit: I bought the PHB, but parted with it when the errata became too extensive for me to paste it inside the covers of the book.]

Yes, bought the 3 core books. Played a few characters and games with it. Wasn't interested in buying anything more after that. Now the only thing I spend my money on for WotC are the Star Wars Saga books.

I purchased the PHB via Amazon and then sold it with in about 25 min after opening the box the day it was delivered to one of my group.

So i voted no in the poll.
