It’s time for some rest and relaxation far away from all the adventures that have taken a toll on the parties’ minds and bodies. They book a cabin near a quiet river, a remote place where no other soul can be seen for miles and miles.

They enjoy themselves, doing a little bit of everything. Fishing, playing, reading, gardening, nothing is off the table. This little corner of the world is theirs.

But in the night. Things go bump in the night. And our heroes, stressed as they are set out to investigate. But never mind, it was just a branch.

Again, bump. They don their armors, grab their weapons. Just the teapot that was left on the stove for too long.

A horrible scream is heard! Will this actually be some kind of emergency or best to let it go away on its own?

A harsh winter like no other has come. Blizzards rage, making the need for shelter all the more important. The group of heroes arrive at the city, its gates tightly guarded. They somehow manage to past by, and they head to the city’s center.

A madman is spewing nonsense about the end of the world in a blanket of snow and ice. The few merchants who dared sell their goods are covered in their thick furs waiting to earn just a little bit more coin.

They try to get into the inn, but the place is at full capacity, they’re even charging an admission fee! The adventurers, pretty much broke at this point are left with few choices to take shelter before the weather turns even worse.

What will they do now?

Looking for ancient ruins, the group of heroes ventures into a mist-shrouded swamp. The air was thick with the stench of decay, and glowing eyes began to stalk them from all directions.

As they made their way deeper into the marshlands, a group of undead lizardfolk emerged from the dark waters. Startled and outnumbered, the adventurers started to run for their lives.

But when escaping was no longer an option, the cleric cast protective wards and the rest prepared for the long, bloody battle ahead.

Can they survive this encounter? And what’s causing the lizardfolk to rise from their watery graves?

The group of heroes entered the icy cave where the dragon made its lair. The frost-covered shield of the paladin raised up in anticipation for the fight to come, the rest follow behind.

Scattered within the cave are the frozen remains of those who dared to disturb the dragon. One of them might yet live, and their rescue is today’s mission.

The battle will be long and hard, and the adventurers will have to be careful not to slip on the ice they’re walking on.

Can they perform the rescue mission successfully, or will they end up as more trophies for the giant beast?

The adventurers have had some very stressful weeks. Encounter after encounter has left them with broken bones, deep cuts, concussions, and unfortunately, one death.

After carrying their dead comrade’s body all through the realm, they now knock at the front door of one of the most sacred places around.

This house of worship has some of the best healers in all the continent, and bringing back their fellow adventurer should be no problem at all.

Not only that, but a holy presence can be felt coming from within, bringing peace to the restless heroes’ hearts.

Surely nothing can go wrong here. Can it?

Still lost, the adventurers trek through the forest without a clear direction. They’ve been traveling for days now, and are nowhere near finding their way.

It all started in a crossroads, the bard insisting the group should take a right turn. It seemed the right choice at the time. Nobody questioned the decision. But soon enough they came to the realization that something was wrong.

And after a couple of days they were utterly lost.

Now they’re trying to make their way back, but their sense of direction is one of the worst ever seen in the kingdom.

Can they ever figure out a way back? Or will they forever be lost, destined to become feral, their adventuring careers ending with a bizarre twist?
