Dire Flail Proficiency

I think that you are creating a storm in a glass of water.

The sorcerer, if he doesn't want to spend a feat on it, should sell the thing and buy himself a nice, magic morningstar. Or a wand, or whatever. Or give it to a fighter in the party in exange for something else.

OK. Then instead of just knocking me down, why don't you actually offer a solution? Do you have one? What would you do? Help. Don't hinder.

I wasn't trying to knock you down. I was voicing an opinion that I didn't think EWP are that powerful. But, if you want a magical item that would give you this feat I would do the following:

Gloves of (pick single exotic weapon)
When these gloves are wworn they grant proficiency in one type of exotic weapon
Caster Level: 5th; Prerequiste: Craft Wondrous Item, Greater Magic Weapon; Market Price: 2500gp; Wieght: --

He choose it for the nice +4 AC bonus in the first place, but thought it would be nice to help out in combat as well... but with a +6 on attacks... he doesn't hit that much when the party level is about 12...

ehh... I'm at work right now, can somebody tell me what kind of bonus the +4 is? Haste bonus? Cause he already has bracers of armor and ring of protection.. maybe he cannot benefit from it..

Someone mentioned that it wouldn't unbalance the gameplay to let a sorcerer create a relatively cheap magical item to allow usage of the weapon.. but if I do that, everybody else will want to craft their own exotic weapons... the rogue springs to mind... he's got a +4 vampire paralyzing repeating crossbow... now thats unbalancing..

I would say 15,000 gp... in that case, only the sorcerer can afford it (he's running a business/crime empire on the side, but that's a different story altogether).,..
