Disciple of Alacrity Prestige Class(Edited again)

Other movement-related feats:
Mobility
Spring Attack
Feats that give +2 to two movement-related skills
Fleet of Foot (CW*) --> Dancing Charge (Beyond Monks)
Sidestep (MH*) --> Fancy Footwork (Beyond Monks)

And maybe
Quick Draw
Rapid Reload
Combat Reflexes

*Non-OGL

Beyond Monks has several OGL feats that might work.

I'm not thrilled with requiring four feats to start the class.

To enter this class at 7th level, a human non-fighter would spend *all* their feats on the pre-reqs listed. A non-human non-fighter would have to wait until 10th level.

Looking at the PrCs in the DMG, most of them have three or fewer prerequisite feats. The Loremaster and Red Wizard have four required feats, but those include magic feats from their primary class levels. None of the non-spellcasting PrCs in the DMG have more than three feats as a prerequisite.

Hmmm perhaps I should bump Run

I think that's the most important and relevant requirement. If anything I'd drop Improved Initiative.

The class seems pretty powerful to me, but it's probably OK in practice. I'm curious about the class skills, though -- Sleight of Hand, for example?

It depends on what type of speed you want to focus on. If you want to focus on reaction speed, combat speed, sprinting, and the like, Improved Initiative is probably a better fit. If you want to focus on longer distances, Run and possibly Endurance are probably a better fit than the more combat-related feats.

The class certainly focuses on both, giving bonuses to speed and initiative. I think Run is important, though.

Run is important because it's suboptimal. It puts a cost on the class, which- the more I look at it- looks better and better. :)

This was also a factor in my choice, of course. II is a pretty good feat already.

Yes after thinking about it, I think if I remove a feat it will probably be Lightning Reflexes. It doesnt tie as directly into their abilities as Run and Improved Initiative, or even Dodge.

Actually, going over their requirements again I'm not sure you even need to bother. A nonhuman fighter can get into this class at the minimum level (7), and even a human rogue couldn't get in until level 9. Making a nonhuman rogue wait until level 10 isn't that much of a change...

A nonhuman could take Ftr2/Rog6 or Ftr4/Rog3 to get into the class faster, if desired; BA is the main factor, as I see it.
