O.k. my players shouldn't read this (you can, but you shouldn't):

[sblock=questions] As I am getting closer to the part that needs melded into the LEW world, I have a question or two. First thanks again to orsal for the link too the references of the inn and temple located north of Orussus, but my first question is were they never named? they are refered to as the temple, The Temple of Phyrah, the inn, the travelers' inn, and such. Distance is a little revelate and I want to make sure you said it is 1/2 a day for normal walking characters(I'm assuming 30' speed) and a day for encumbered or small characters (here I assume 20' speed), but you don't mean 12 hours and 24 hours you mean like 6 hours and 12 hours respectively? "day" refering to amount of daylight.

And finally I would like to have the hospice be an add on to the temple maybe a building to keep the sick apart from others. But built apart and walled off, this would be a place cloistered clerics and nuns tend those who fall ill in their travels.

So to recap..
Does the inn and temple need names...
Time it takes to get to the area in question...
Can I add the hospice as described above...
Oh and do I need to add the DTC to the wiki (I don't know how to do that)

thanks in advance

a day in 3.5 is 3 miles per hour for a 30' movement at 8 hours, there for a full day would be 24 miles. a half day would be 12 miles. a 20' move rate would give you 16 miles in one day. I see you have hours, but I think you ment miles. 1f y0u r try1ng t0 take my crown uv international man of errors, u have a l0ng way t0 g0!

[sblock=same people as above]
Distance: I conceived the inn as a place where people travelling to or from Orussus could spend the night, so not more than a full day's travel for most travellers. A full day, in this context, means 8 hours -- how far people actually travel in a day, not how far they would hypothetically travel if they didn't need to rest. Because if they didn't need to rest, they wouldn't need the inn. From the movement table at Movement :: d20srd.org I guess about 15 miles from town would seem reasonable.

I don't recall ever naming the inn. Feel free to give it a name if you want.

I don't see any reason there shouldn't be a hospice connected to the temple if you want one there.

I've a question regarding experience gained via the Job system while not working. Viktor qualifies to work as an Craftsmen, and I assumed he was doing so during the time he's been waiting on an adventure. With that in mind, he would have accrued 5 experience each week, as well as 4 gold per week (2.5+1.5(6/4=1.5)) and 6 Craft points per week?

Should I have been updated my character sheet each week with this information? I somewhat naively assumed it didn't matter when I updated, but then realized when Holyman asked about shopping in our adventure that keeping that sort of information up to date is rather important.

If I made any mistakes regarding the job system or the time experience, please let me know.

I don't update Nurlan's sheet with amphitheatre income on any regular basis. I just make a note of when I last calculated income, so that when I do get around to updating, I can calculate the total. Of course, now that he's started an adventure, so you know how long he's been accruing money, one update to cover that period should suffice.

Alright, and I was correct that I can 'work' the craftsman job while waiting in the Inn?

Yes. Viktor also needs to set aside a minimum of 1/4 of his job system income to pay off his 500 gp shop. If you don't ever intend to sell (MW) items to PCs, then there's no need to create a shop thread for it, of course.

And in a related question: how lenient would we be in, uh, retrospectively declaring that a PC had begun a job? If I'd realised just how long Conuld would be idle, I'd have had him start magecrafting the day he got back. Oh well.
