Mith, would you mind changing those links so that they start with www.enworld.org instead of the cyberstreet address? People are going to have trouble staying logged in with the addresses as they are.

And Thels it is in User Options, under the the User CP (Control Panel). I know nit-picky, but ummm, noobs could get lost in the vastness that is Profile. Woooo. Didn't slow me down as I just keep pushing buttons until I either blow things up, or make it work!

random musing here... it was discussed long ago that a player might be able to get an ecl character by retiring a current character who was over first level. Since I have acharacter (Kirin the mortalist cleric) who was played up to 2nd and change but is effectively retired due to player/character disagreements, it seemed like a good line to persue to expand character options should I get bored and introduce a Janosian cleric. (gotta do something with my gods).

On a completely different topic, would others find it helpful if dms who posted "job openings" in the red dragon included an OOC section to help the players as well as the characters pick their games? For instance, after my distraught elvishish wizard teleports into the middle of the room and makes a plea for a band of trackers and fighters to find his kidnapped daughter (who is unfortunately protected by a powerful non detection charm he himself gave her to defend her honor from his aprentices) I might add at the bottom:

OOC: This is a 'vingette' adventure which should be finished up in one to two weeks of dedicated posting real time and will involve more skill use than fighting. Frustration warning: protective magic may make straight spellcasters less useful.

Just a thought.

Hello, any judges out here...? I don't expect instantaneous results here, but some sign of consideration going on would be appreciated...

Judges - what are our feelings towards Complete Warrior? Specifically, I'm interested in the alternate non-spellcasting ranger, and the boomerang.

For the alt ranger... I don't see Troi casting spells, unless he heads down the path of the learner, at which point he'll be going for sorcerer; also, I don't think he's the kind of person who'd cast spells 'granted by nature'. I'm aware that it isn't open content, but it's a small enough thing that I'd like to use it. I could post the exact changes here, if you like.

For the boomerang... I've been looking for a second weapon for Troi to use, as the whip and short sword, while a decent combination, doesn't seem to fit quite yet. I think that the boomerang might be the answer... I'm willing to put in the time to craft some, as they'd be a new thing and might not be available for sale, but I'm looking to get some and see how it works out. I could post the boomerang's stats here, if you'd like.

I'm slowly beginning to think that since two judges are on extended leaves after the hollidays, we should probably just make this whole thing a community project.

I'm pro CW as well as the Unearthed Arcana.
However, I don't think that they are up on the net yet, which (correct me if I am wrong) was what we were restricting PC options to.
