As the Judge for the aforementioned game (The Merry Chase), I, too agree that the Rings should be returned. KB never really cleared them as a proposal, though they gave her the liscense that she needed for her story.

For what its worth, KB did create a new magic item which each of the characters in the Merry Chase did receive (tho Thels may have given his up). It is like an immovable Rod, but it has extendble ends. She made mention of it in this forum at the time, and I have a link to her description in the CS for my PC.

For what its worth. Do you think DMs need to get official approval to create new magic items? I wouldn't think so unless there were game balance issues to it.

Manzanita - I'd say that, if the item is supposed to stay around after the adventure, the DM should make a proposal for it. Kahuna Burger created a mini-proposal for the rods, but none for the rings. I'll try to get in touch with her about that issue, however.

I've seen some people waiting in the Red Dragon Inn for a new adventure, at least that's what I assume. If there aren't any DMs ready at this point, I'm willing to give it a shot (would be my first PbP DMing). Is the info for DMing in the Guide to LEW still correct (ea E-mail addresses) and is there a need for new DMs? If so, I'll start working on the adventure soon.

Yes, we are waiting, but don't feel there MUST be a game for us... after all, a wiz, a sorcerer and a merchant is not a normal adventuring group... dunno if Manz and Knight think about it, but I make pretty much fun talking at the Inn.

I had thought there were more who were looking for adventure, but only three have been posting. My next adventure will be starting soon, (I think, depending on you-know-what), and will be available for all interested PCs. My own excluded of course. So my PCs would be interested, Venus, or one of them anyway.

I believe the emails in the post you're referring to are still correct. I would prefer you don't include any spoilers in your description, in order to allow one of my PCs to participate. But if you want to discuss things before starting, then that's OK.

I'm very much enjoying the tavern talk, but I wouldn't mind an adventure.
Even if it seems like there are no adventurers in the tavern, send in an adventure or two. I'd say it is better to have a few approved adventures in reserve so they can be started quickly rather than have people wander off in boredom and their characters sit in the tavern with spiderwebs all over them.

Granted, I haven't been keeping up to date on the General Discussion thread like I should, but is there any plan to resume the Judge review of the remaining pending proposals? Just asking because I submitted a PrC for review (Brightstriker) 3 months ago and nobody's made a single comment on it.
