I don't know about the mountain goblins in particular, but I believe that it was 3 yes votes from judges that gets approval. I think we had it that 3 no votes veto, but I dont think we have ever had 6 judges voting.

I've posted to Knight Otu and Nimisgod to approve my character. Up to now, one have answer me and didn't tell anything about the race, so I suppose it is fine. And playing a goblin will be a bit more challenging, as people will not trust me on first sight...

While it won't solve the problem entirely, the Mortalists are willing to "sponsor" members of traditionally evil races who demonstrate their dedication to a good life. I made an informal proposal a while back in the discussion of playing "monster" races that they might provide a small talisman magicly enchanted to glow only when held by the person it was made for, which would indicate their sponsorship of an individual.

It wouldn't prevent roleplaying the distrust, but would cut down on the "why is he allowed in the city" sprt of arguments we got into before.

Just thought I'd mention that Rae Ardgaoth's adventure, Tests & Trials, is getting into their first combat and we still don't have a judge assigned.

I'll volunteer as judge for Tests and Trials. I'll go start catching up on the thread.

Dungannon, I don't think I've gamed with you since the ill fated 'legacy of the deep'!

Yeah, well, most of my pbp games have gone much the same way as that one. :\ Tests & Trials is my 3rd Living ENWorld adventure. The first two were both ended prematurely, one by player abandonment and one by DM abandonment.

Hey Velmont,

If you want in to my adventure you want to get in the Red Dragon Inn soon, even if you haven't been approved yet. I started the hook this morning, but it'll be a couple of days before we get on the road, and hopefully you'll be all se to go by then.

KB, so that Mortalist amulet is free I suppose? If so, I'll add it to my equipement"

well, a judge may object and want an official proposal and cost, but if your character is good alingned, the mortalists would be inclined to provide it for free/at cost. perhaps the same cost as a signet ring (another peice of rp related equiptment)?
