Woohoo! We’ve just acquired the rights from Terry Pratchett to make a Discworld short-movie! <does a little happy dance> So we’re doing Troll Bridge.

Yeah… I’ve always disagreed (as have many other Discworld fans) with Stephen Briggs for writing that. Troll Bridge features Cohen the Barbarian and is exactly the same character that appears in The Light Fantastic, Interesting Times and The Last Hero. Not to mention the talking horse in Troll Bridge talks about travelling Rimwards. I find it difficult to imagine any other world referring to Rimwards as a direction.

Oh, and a Snowgum is a kind of tree that grows in the alpine regions of Australia. It’s pretty hardy and usually survives in several feet of snow. It’s not really supposed to symbolise anything though – we just liked the sound of it.
