DM looking for modules

Hi folks,
My current game I'm running (a "New World" homebrew) will be ending shortly (January or so) I'm looking for something to run for the next pass. I'm looking for something that:

* I can reasonably run from level 1 to 12 or so. (Or 3ish to 12ish)
* Has a real plot that involves serious amounts of role-playing and real (non-combat) decisions on the part of the PCs
* Has some ammusing NPCs (its what I do best as a DM so...)
* Is pretty much pure D&D 3.5
* Doesn't require HUGE amounts of work for the DM

Cost is not much of an issue (I'd like to stay under $80.00 total or so, but $100 is probably okay)

My best thought at the moment is to convert L1 and L2 (AD&D 1st edition) to 3.5. But that is too much work and my older players may well have played them before.

Thoughts?

Drow War from Mongoose I think covers levels 1-10 in the first one. I'm playing in a game where the DM is using it and it is fun but that's the extent of my knowledge of it.

I'm a big fan of The Lost City of Barrakus. There are lots of interesting NPCs and it takes place in a city rather than an idlyic town or village. There is plenty of potential combat, but you could easily add negotiation.

If won't quite take your players from 1 to 12 (probably 1 to 6 or 7), but you'll get plenty of story hooks for future adventurers.

Wulf has a story hour on this module (and other modules that he's added on), his players are having a blast. I can't seem to find the link at the moment, however.

Thanks all for the thoughts. I'll look into them. Vault of Larin Karr and A Lamentation of Thieves sound like the most likely fit from what I can find.

Thanks!

I am not so sure that it fits into the amusing NPC's limitation but I think Banewarrens would cover 6th to 12th IIRC. Monte Cook wrote it, and it is in Ptolus even thought the Ptolus campaign setting won't be out until August.

I just started a new campaign about 6 weekes ago and was in this same predicament. I would rather write my own adventures, but simply don't have the time. I also don't have tons of extra $. All that being said, I used my resources and pillaged the WotC site for some help.

Under downloads you will find a ton of adventures, for all levels. Not all are 3.5, but the first 3 adventures for my new campiagn have come from here and included the following.

The Ettin's Riddle
The Windswept Wall
The Eye of the Sun

They required very little tweaking to fit into my homebrew world. In The Windswept Wall I populated the caverns with Kobolds and that took up a session itself.

Give it a look, you should find something you can use. If your lucky you can string a few together like I did. I plan to start Sons of Gruumsh next session as a spring-board for an Orc invasion.
