By now I guess people are sick of hearing my opinions... too much player's entitlement and especially too many options for retraining or swapping abilities are the main reason why I won't switch to 5.5. It makes it annoyingly difficult to prepare an adventure if characters almost always have the perfect tools for the job. One of the main reasons I like playing RPGs is pretty much when you find you don't have the perfect tool, and need to think differently.Reading reviews and it's a lot of gushing over how many new options and powers the PCs have. Which is grand from a player perspective.
What do my fellow Forever DMs think?
Hmm... they never said it wasn't for that either. However they all got legal threats for saying bad things about the phb...DnD Shorts was sent preview products and their channel became famous by attacking WotC/Hasbro
The messages from lawyers weren't because of the tenor of the review. No one else has claimed that.
And your evidence for this take is??Hmm... they never said it wasn't for that either. However they all got legal threats for saying bad things about the phb...
To be fair, people don't usually demand evidence when someone has a positive take...And your evidence for this take is??
What positive take... He claims they never said the legal threats weren't for negative reviews ( of course they never said they weren't for alot of things)... then proceeds to state they got legal threats for saying bad things about the PHB... I'm asking for evidence that supports the insinuation and the final statement. To be fair, people don't usually demand evidence when someone has a positive take...
doesn’t mean you should not be able to provide evidence for it when askedTo be fair, people don't usually demand evidence when someone has a positive take...
