DnD 3.5 - Valley of the Dead

I could see her paying homage to a figure called 'the Enlightened One' who is this pantheon's version of Buddha. She might also invoke certain specific gods or goddesses to smile on specific actions related to their purviews...that'd be the Celestial Bureaucracy coming into play.

And of course, the gods of fortune, since her quest is a risky one. The kind of high-risk, high-reward thing that you definitely want the gods of fortune on your side for. :)

Ah, but who knows how gods think and work? A new deity ascending the already crowded pantheon that rules over the world, let alone the continent of Muirlane might be a problem for some, and a solution to others.

So far in the story we've seen Gruumsh and Helm be somewhat involved (well not really coming down and laying the smaketh on things but still) and thogh we've not seen Lathander we can assume he's also involved if a horde of his followers is sniffing around.

So, work on your bios, I'll review the characters more closely and we should be able to start/resume in a few days.

I'm slowly going over Dragonwriter's character, while at work. So far:

- I approve being an Emerald dragonblooded human. Any particular reason you chose this type of dragon?
- Check the prerequisites for Song of the Heart: Bardic music class feature, inspire competence ability, Perform 6 ranks

Bards don't get Inspire Competence until level 3 and you currently have 4 hard points invested in Perform: Oratory

I am back from a work induced hiatus of a few weeks. I believe I had submitted, but not really played a character for this game. Still got room?

The Emerald Heritage is for both mechanical and flavor reasons. Mechanics for Sonic damage with the Inspiration and flavor for hereditary curiosity (with a possible dash of paranoia).

Oops, misread the feat. Oh well. I'll swap it for Adaptive Style (Tome of Battle) so I don't have to monkey with my skills and levels for now.

Yes, thank you Voda.

Guys figure out your backgrounds, and I would not be opposed to shared character backgrounds if you want it. We'll start next week considering all the mechanical stuff is in order (which I trust is the case, Shayuri and Dragonwriter know how to build characters)

We will start with the rest of the party being sent out to check up on the recon team that had been sent out (old party). Thok is there now and they will be facing something that made a mess and killed off an important NPC. It should not be a hard challenge for the party in such numbers and levels. From then on we progress with the story.

Scotley: we have your Cleric/Radiant servant in the RG. He will really fit well in this game! Try to finish him up if there is anything else to add, so you're ready come next week.
