DnD Blog: Wizard with a License to Kill

It's been assumed ever since they said that they wanted to include all the classes that ever were in a PHB1. (Plus, as far as most think the Psion.)

Yes, I'm aware of that statement and have it on the page. I also have a list of those specifically mentioned, and I'd missed out assassin.

Great! Now you've got it. Thanks for keeping it all up to date. It's a great resource for those of us who can't wait for more. I can't stress enough how much I enjoy being able to trust you to find any information available.

It's blogs like this that reassure me. Sure, it's info-light, but it is reassuring nonetheless (even if I don't like having assassins in my games).

Really nothig new is said, and it actually leaves me feeling a bit more puzzled about themes.

I've been under the impression that 5e 'feats' have considerably more "oomph" than 3e or 4e feats. Or at least are closer to the flavor changing feats like 3es leadership or the domain feats or reserve feats.

If they are that and are still a step down from the class mechanics I'm really curious to see what mechanical uniqueness they are using to differentiate fighters, rangers, rogues and assasins to name 4.
