Do not get the new patch!

The poster above who said '....just do it.' was me. And I am on a dial-up too.

My first run at he ENWorld server was right before he updated to CEP. Took me forever to get CEP, but I finally got it [from a friend via post] and was ready to play. Then came the HAK, which I dutifully downloaded. Finally started playing on the server.

Now, here I've sat for four days, with a 1.64 patched machine, waiting for the ENWorld server to catch up.

Guess that means I'm hasty, I dunno. But it's been four days, and it's a been a PITA already to try to join in the fun.

Been waiting since the day the patch came out with a 1.64 patched machine unable to visit EnWorld and those I normally play with there and its frustrating not being able to play. I see no sense in going backwards though so I have no plans to revert...hopefully the EN Server will catch up eventually.

Hmmm. This sucks. I just went out and bought HOTU so I could check out the ENWorld server. The first thing I did was make sure I had the latest patch.

Guess I'll just check back in a couple of days...

You can download the revert patch on Bioware's site, which will take you from 1.64 to 1.62, if you really want to play right now...

I started the game it said a new patch was available did I wish to update... as I did I did, it made sense to me at the time
It makes no sense to me to play on an older version as the patches not only add new things, which is always nice but they fix old problems which to me is VERY important.
Not being able to play on the EN Server for over a week has sadly been the price of being up-to-date but in all honesty I didn't think it will be this long for the server to update, It'll happen sooner or later though its just a bit annoying I dont get to hang with my usual pals in the meantime.

I decided to replay the single player campaigns, SoU and HotU again while I wait

I can update at any time, but I'm not sure when's best to do it. How many people already have the patch, and how many haven't yet?

Any idea on how long before you update the server?

Well, you can now include me in the list of people who have patched up to 1.64. And I had lots of problems doing so, that I'm not going back to 1.62...

I hope EN World Server updates soon. (Would fix the well and headstone at the same time)

I hate to do this, but it's odd to have no official response after this amount of time.

I invited a few friends over to the server a week ago, but that's blown now.

Yeah, I´ve invited some friends to, and they were not impressed with what they saw.
I fear for our beloved server, that the glory days are gone.
I hope that something radical will happen soon.
