D&D General Do THIS, WotC!

Legend
We've done this sort of thread (probably many) times before, but why not again?

If you could command WotC to publish any book on any (D&D-related) topic, what would it be? They can be as outlandish as you want.

Feel free to offer more than one.

What comes to mind for me...

  • Nentir Vale and Beyond: A Wilderlands-style sandbox that includes not only a deeply detailed hex-crawl of Nentir Vale, but the entirety of Nerath. Make it drenched in lore - lots of history, bits and pieces of history and mythology, but focused on site locations.

  • Malazan Book of the Fallen Campaign Setting: I know Erikson and Esslemont were GURPS guys so this may be even more unlikely than the first, but this is a fictional world just begging to be made into an RPG setting. Really, I think it deserves its own system - but D&D would work, and it would be a great way to really explore high level stuff. Plus, they'd probably have to extend the rules into the level 21-30 range to do justice to iconic characters like Anomander Rake, Caladan Brood, and Jaghut Tyrants (these guys are not simply 16-20 level characters).

  • The Gith-Drow Wars: Not really sure how this would work, but a massive campaign book that focuses on the Githyanki, Githzerai, and Drow - and a war between the three. The book would detail the homeworlds/cities of each.

I've got some other ideas, but let's start with those three.

I've been running a modern setting campaign and it's been really fun. I've had to remake and homebrew some stuff to make it work. Borrowed bits from UA and used some spells from Mage Hand Press' Arcane Archive. That's fine. But I would love a more cohesive redesign of classes, spells, and equipment befitting the modern age.

A 5E take on Urban Arcana would be amazing.

I'd personally like a 5E Gamma World Setting, or Star Frontiers.
