I’m playing Basic Fantasy now and will probably continue. I’ve played and run OSRIC/AD&D 1e and OD&D as well.

Does Pirate Borg and Mörk Borg count?

I have and will continue to play and run all kinds of things but 5e or things that lean as complex are off the table for a while.
Pirate Borg? I'm jealous!

I'll be running 1e/OSRIC two-shot for some players who never played it in a couple weeks (UK4 When a Star Falls). I actually reworked a bunch of classes for 1e/OSRIC... the cavalier, acrobat, and barbarian (from Unearthed Arcana)... along with monk & bard as a class (from PHB)... Gary's proposed Hunter class (Trigee Enterprises, posted on Dragonsfoot)... and a mess of good ones from Dragon magazine - death master, savant, witch, cloistered cleric, barbarian cleric, healer, oracle, bandit, charlatan, jester, merchant, archer, berserker, bounty hunter, duelist, sentinel.

If you play 1e/OSRIC and want my "lost classes" document, just ping me. Edit: Still working on reworking spell writeups, but the archived links are there so you can jump to the dragon articles to look 'em up

The audience here skews older and 5E focused. You’re not likely to get many younger people new with 5E who are now OSR players.
I want to add: I belong to a Discord server where I'm tied for "the old guy" status, and everyone is younger to significantly younger, and there's a strong bias against 5e among that segment of younger players.

They're not on ENWorld, but there definitely is a younger player subset who are not at all interested in 5e D&D.

Not quite sure what to vote here. I have played a bit of AD&D2e when it was current, but I have played significantly more 3e and 5e. I am no longer playing WotC D&D versions, and I do play OSR games from time to time. Yet they are just part of a larger set of options and I don’t play OSR exclusively.

Been breaking the rules since I was 9.

Been playing some form of D&D since '79 (4th grade, 9yrs old).

For OSR, I prefer Old School Essentials (OSE) and 2E. Been trying to get a group together to commit to doing B4 - The Lost City, in OSE.

I also just spent the last year or so raiding my old books (Wizard's Spell Compendium (1E), Priest's Spell Compendium (1E), Spell Compendium (3E), Complete Psionics (2E), Expanded Psionics (3E), Complete ... series (2E, 3E), Monstrous Compendium 1-14 + annuals (2E) MM1-4 (3E) ) to convert stuff to my 5E game.
