I don't get to DM very often, but that's just because I married my DM. I figured I'll always have a game to play in if I married one. :)

When I do DM, I've mostly run 1 shots for a group of people getting together, but don't get together often enough to constitute a campaign. While I can't build a story arch, I get to try out a lot of different concepts and run with them. We've had some great gonzo moments.

I've done a few adventures for one group and so I chose "rarely."

This will change when I begin DM'ing an Eberron campaign for my other group, probably in a few months.

Truth is "Mostly" -> answered "Sometimes".

My game has been the longest running game most of us have played. PCs are up to level 16 (!!!) just recently, and are starting to get themselves on various lists -- the "people to invite" sort, the "people to inform" sort, and the "people to inhume" sort.

I used to. I ran a pretty long Dark Sun campaign back in the day, and ran numerous games for the RPGA when 3.0 came out. That experience soured me considerably against the 3.0/3.5 ruleset, to the point where I just won't run it anyone. It's fun to play, but running the game is like shaving my corneas with a dull razor. No thanks. I'll stick to other games like Savage Worlds or Lejendary Adventure.

I have DM'd for about 6 years straight now. The last game I was in and not the DM was about 4 years ago.

I enjoy the storytelling aspect so I'm okay with it.
