Voted I play RPGs occasionally, but am not getting enough gaming action.

I play every few weeks in a game that I joined in January. I am DM-ing a game that hasn't been run in about a month due to various personal reasons. I would love to have a more weekly game either as a PC or a DM.

I do have to say that sometimes I play just enough but it seems that more often than not I don't get to play enough. :(

I DO NOT game enough! It's killing me. I really really wish I could game about 3 times a week. At this rate, I might get driven back to computer games. I shudder at the thought. I want to run a game, maybe two different games, and play in at least one more. Currently, I'm playing in a D&D game about every other week, except this week we are skipping, but I'm going over to the DM's house anyways to work on my new character.

Apparently, I live in a gaming dead zone. Sometimes I see people playing at the local store, and I wonder what that must be like. Usually, however, they are just talking, or they look like I wouldn't want to be in their game anyways. I'm desperate, but picky.

Our group (a reprise of the same group we had as teenagers) tries to get together once a month, but that is a challenge considering we live in three different metropolitan areas and several of us have young children.

We have not had a session since December.

Most of that is my fault; I'm the DM, so if my schedule doesn't work out, we don't play this campaign. One of my brothers runs things the times I can't come down--which has been more and more frequent as my job and family pressures seem to increase.

I would dearly love to play more; perhaps the summer will allow me to get in a few more sessions. In the meantime, I'm trying to type up all my house rules and begin writing a story hour (which I may inflict on the boards if I get caught up).

I voted "I play RPGs regularly, and am getting enough gaming action," although this is one of the first times in my life where I would say that.

I DM for my regular group once every 3-4 weeks and I play in the Pulp Heroes game that Gospog mentioned almost monthly. 2-3 times since December I've either played in or ran a one-shot. I'm loving the pace, although it will likely slow down a little as the weather gets nicer.

In the past, D&D campaigns that I ran met much less frequently (probably every 3 months on average, although it wasn't very regular) and I've often gone a few years at a time without playing. For example when I lived in Seattle 1998-2000 I didn't really know any gamers so although I bought game books and read them I never got a chance to play, other than an quick Alternity campaign that broke up after one session when a few of the players moved away.

Both d20 and this site have contributed greatly to my getting a chance to play more games.

I run Barsoom just about once a week, which is right on the edge of what I can handle time-wise (for preparation) but I am DYING to play rather than DM. I sat in on a group here running a modern campaign but it didn't work out great and so I'm just dying.

I'm trying to get one of my players (actually any of my players) to run a game but they don't want to give up a Barsoom session in order to play some other campaign. It'd be more flattering if it were less frustrating.

I know there are community members who love D&D and other RPGs but for one reason or another don't get to play. This is related to the existing "how many games are you in" poll, but this is more to get a headcount of folks who see them selves as participating regularly, semi-regularly, or not at all in an RPG game. (Not just D&D or D20 btw).

I was running an occasional game of Buffy but my gaming group doesn't fit my schedule.

Othewrwise I am not gaming at all FTF or on line.

I get all of the gaming I could want by reading ENWorld and a few other forums

Oddly I am quite happy with this turn of events as I am burned out on gaming

I voted "occasionally, but getting enough" I'm the only GM for two games. Add that to work (6-3 and 5 with OT) and raising a child with a disability, my occasional gaming "sanity" breaks are just about all i can handle.

Due to my working off shifts and my wife working weekends I rarely play anymore. 80% of my gaming is done here on Story Hour write ups or PbP. I'ld go crazy without En World.

I haven't gamed in months, ever since the local Wizards store folded up their gaming tables. We tried moving to the mall food court, but the attendance dropped off rapidly. After a few weeks of that, we stopped trying. :( Even at the Wizards store, the attendance wasn't very stable. Some of the players were still in high school, so when their grades suffered, they stopped coming. I wasn't able to go every week and no one else had DM experience. So, such is life.
