My story hour is the only D&D-ish campaign I've run in years and years. I mostly play other stuff.

Still, I do like D&D, bless her big ole heart ;).

For my group it's mostly D&D (Forgotten Realms), but we currently have a HackMaster game on hiatus as well as Spycraft, Greyhawk, and Call of Cthulhu.

D&D for me. If someone were willing to run, say, D20 Modern, I would play, but probably not GM as I think I'd have trouble coming up with adventure ideas for a whole campaign. (One-shot gaming, I could probably do that).

And I'm a one-system guy, not out of loyalty but out of laziness. Some people really enjoy learning new rules for new games. Me -- I don't. I find that a chore.

Swap out d20 Modern for some d20 space fantasy (dragonstar or star wars), and ditto, what he said.

I prefer to learn one ruleset well, then spend my time coming up with stuff to entertain my players rather than learning a bunch of other systems. If I didn't have a job and other hobbies, maybe there'd be more time for other games....

... but then again, I've always been pretty satisfied with D&D, both the game mechanics and the general setting. After playing on and off for 20 years, I still don't feel I've even come close to exhausting all the intriguing possibilities the game offers, both as a DM and a player.
