D&D General Do you play in person or online?

Do you play Dungeons and Dragons online or in person? Or does it change depending on what is most convenient?

I play online, because I have players across the US. I have nothing against playing IRL, but it's harder to get people together IME.

Only in person. Nothing against online, I just never tried it.

Bit of both. Primary group is at home but we have a couple remote.

In person whenever possible, but online games are better than no games.

I switched to playing online during COVID. That came in handy two years ago, when I moved to a new state, since my groups moved with me (as it were). But I wouldn’t say no to joining an in-person group if the opportunity arose. I might even go looking for one when my current campaign ends.

Slow play via forums.
