Do You RPG More Than Once Per Week?

I havent played regular weekly tabletop in like 6 months. I quit cause of time constraints :\

I havent played on our PBP in like a couple of months. DM has been sick.

Thank heavens for the Funtier blog below. Its keeping my imagination busy. And no rules!

I just want to add how surprised I am to see so many other people who are not playing often. I thought that in this crowd I would surely be one of the few not getting enough. Uh, gaming that is.

Usually about twice a week, though there has been the rare time in the last 6 months when I squeezed 4 games into one week.

Once a week? No. Once a month? If I'm lucky. *sigh*

Once a month, you are most definitely lucky. I game(tabletop) once every to or three months except for summer. Then I game once a week.

I have been gaming once per week pretty consistently for the last four years (save whne I was brand new to Toledo and looking for a group, and when I took a few months off to get to know my wife). Due to a variance in my work schedule this month, I have shifted from Sunday gaming to Saturday gaming. Now that the variance has righted itself, it looks like I will continue to play on some Saturdays (about 2/month) while resuming weekly Sunday play.

The short answer, I'm going from once to 1.5 times per week.

That said, I've all but given up online gaming which used to consume huge amounts of time for me.

If you look back to my college/medical school years, I consistently gamed twice per week.

Sadly, No. Back When I Was At University I Used To GM About Three Or Four Times Per Week And Play A Character About Twice Or Three Times Per Week. But Since All My Friends Got Jobs (Well, Most Of Them) It Has Not Been Possible To Play So Often. Indeed, I Am Reduced To Considering It A Good Week In Which I Play At All.

This Weekend Is Shaping Up Nicely, Though. I Should Be Able To Run My James Bond 007 Campaign In Newcastle On Saturday Night, And My Flat Black Campaign In Port Macquarie On Sunday Afternoon, All At The Cost Of Only Seven Hours' Driving.

Do You RPG More Than Once Per Week?

I get my game on Thursday nights, assuming that everyone can make it. We've had a rash of cancellations due to surgery and two impending children. It makes being DM frustrating.

Battlestations every other week.
M&M every other week.
Ars Magica once a month (in theory).

So that's 1.25 times a week (rounded down to 1).

Then there's my WoW Horde group that meets late on Saturday nights (we have a player from England and one on the swing shift).

I also have a Alliance side WoW group that meets every Monday night.

So that's two nights a week just for WoW.

Coming out to a total of 3.25 games per week, but I still voted no.

I used to play RPGs two or three times a week, but seldom have time at the moment, and I haven't gamed for 5 or 6 months now.

That being said, I'm planning for a campaign later in the year every day, so it's a qualified no.
