Certainly better than any scene featuring the protagonists of that movie. I could have forgiven the dumb plot and terrible dragon cgi, but what absolutely kills the 2000 movie is that I find the adventuring party annoying and unlikable. The 'speak with dead' clip was already better than the entire previous D&D movie.
Well, it looks like it has been a few years since my last visit to the local drive in: https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/ottawa/gatineau-drive-in-theatre-closes-after-45-years-1.5102746Yeah, the San Jose one is close enough, and bugs aren't a big problem in the car, with the radio serving as the speakers.
Van Damme isn't the good kind of bad, he's the stupid kind of awesome.I think it'll be bad, but it might be the good kind of bad, like Jean-Claude Van Damm, not the bad kind of bad, like Steven Segal. I'm definitely seeing it.
Man I hope this is a twist his career takes. Not enough mimes in action movies. Could easily be a franchise..I mentioned Fast and Furious movies earlier and I swear that Vin Diesel used to be able to speak clearly enough to be understood. Now he might as well be a mime for as much good his dialogue does.)
I'm not 100% sure what this means, but maybe it's this: Bloodsport was definitely a stupid kind of awesome.Van Damme isn't the good kind of bad, he's the stupid kind of awesome.
Your evaluation of Steven Seagal is accurate.
