I just wanted to know if anyone plays D&D as is with no changes to any of the rules? No saving throw fro Harm. No changes to races or classes. No nothing.

In one of my games we do. No house rules at all. Everything by the books. We pretty much allow anything from any book, so it seems with all the options availible, the rules don't need changed.

We kinda do.

Since we have 9 players (4 of whom do round-robin on the DMing duties), we decided to have no house rules, mainly for consistency's sake.

We have allowed people to use stuff from most any published source with group approval.

I guess the only exception would be that we have allowed the Monte Cook Ranger, but that is psuedo-published...

We play with no house rules. The only time would be if we can't find an official rule, then we'll make our own. But strictly by the book. And we don't use 3rd party stuff, either. Too much of a mess hassling with hundreds of extra feats, prestige classes, etc.

Now, that's not to say we play all the rules correctly! I'm still discovering things we do wrong....

Well to choose not to use house rules is a "house rule" by itself ... ?

Personally I think its very hard to go without ANY house rules... never done it and I think its very hard. After all the interpretation you give to a rule or spell is in a sense your own. We know how much dubious wording is in the books...

I do agree it makes gaming easier for players in taking from the DM the power to change stuff on the fly. Overall our groups dont have too many house rules so no problem changing DMs.

We started with no house rules in 3e because it was such a change from 2e, we didn't what, if anything needed changing. However, over the past year or so I've compiled a short, but growing, list of house rules for 3e.

It's not many though, we still go by the books (or errata) on 99% of rulings.

I started running my 3rd edition games without house rules. Then I noticed the screwed up vorpal enhancement and burst enhancements, to name a couple of things.

We use only a few house rules. Currently, we are even using some items/spells without errata (Polymporph Self).
Two House Rules I know:
a) Skill Focus => +3 Skill Bonus :)
b) One of the OA Monk Weapons (Sai?) does no longer deal bludgeoning damage, even though it is "stump"... :)
