Does your adventuring group have a name?

One group managed to name itself, even though it took much time and pondering, as "Glory Blades", tough "Gory Blades" worked as well.

The current group... well, my bard tries to come up with a name from time to time in one party, and the other is not really a party, but priestess with her guards and allies.

Something to do with the Faerun Sword Coast would be appropriate, considering that that's the only area where the group did their thing.

If your group has some arcane casters in it, how about...

... Wizards of the Coast ? :p

Scary thing is.....I contemplated the group taking up that EXACT NAME before I even heard of WotC. Damned Idea Thieves.

But then again it wouldn't fit very well since the group consisted of a Bhaalspawn Moon Elf Ranger(Archer), a Rashemi Human Ranger/Barbarian, a Tiefling Dual - short/bastard sword- wielding Bard(who replaced a Half-elf Druid), a Human Figher(who replaced a Human Paladin), an Avariel Mystic Theurge, and a Human Thief/Wizard.

*starts stopwatch to see how long it takes someone to catch on*

Crimson Serpent
My group may choose to disagree with me, since me being their leader and profesional assassin was captured, am trying to make a theives guild to overthrow the shadow thief presence in a particular area of the Dragon Coast.

I DISAGREE! You'll be overthrown soon enough... :D

Yup, our party has a name-

Our party went on a hundred day quest to free a dwarven mine from duergar led by a half demonic grey dwarf. Our prize was literally "as much mithril as we could carry from the mine."

Carry away the mithril we did, and we commemorated the accomplishment by having a gauntlet of mithril made for each member of our party. As we were members of an Adventurer's Guild which required groups to have names for themselves (like companies), we chose an appropriate one: The Mithril Hand

It has worked pretty well.. our paladin had a suit of mithril full plate made, and has fashioned himself "The Mithril Knight." and I, as the cleric, was able to build a temple in our city. Over the last 5 or so levels (we were 4th then, now those with the least death are just hitting 9th), we've gained some prestige, to the point where we don't have to pay taxes to the guild! Huzzah!

Ah, so you have not yet reached the point where the guild pays YOU taxes?:p

In one of our initial adventures the group rescued and was given a "special" humanoid child to protect, care for and raise. At the end of the session (please understand that it was well past our bed times - the youngest member of our group is over thirty and the oldest, well I'm now over forty) we came up with a name for him. It wasn't my idea, but I laughed and didn't object either.

Later, when the group decided the party needed a name, they became The Guardians, which is short for the Guardians of Testiclies.

Really, it WAS late...

I keep hoping, but they keep not making one up...

I gave them one. People started refering to the half-caste heros, as they were all half-elves, bar one half orc and a human.

Then I killed one of the half-elves and the half-orc and they moved locations and the name's faded away.
