Meet ENWorld staff reviewer John Cooper, known as "the nit-picky stat block guy". He's been invited by Dog Soul to comb through the core monsters and correct anything that seems amiss.

Fully bookmarked and easy to print, each pdf also includes "Cooper's Comments" sidebars, which explain what John changed and why he made the changes that he did. "Cooper's Comments" also prompt the DM to check for possible synergy bonuses in instances where a given creature has a skill or skills that still need to be plugged in, like “Craft (any)” or “Knowledge (any three).”

Cooper's Corrected Creature Codex - the definitive monster resource for GM's and d20 publishers.

My only nit-picky question about the cover is: Did you have to use four different fonts in a four word title? What's the point? Two I could understand. You would use a different font for "Corrected," but why four? Seems pointless and a bit busy to me.

I found the four different fonts to be humorous; humor is also the inspiration for the highly alliterative, very busy title. ;)

Amusing. I'd probably pick it up if I were confident that the rest of the SRD would receive the same treatment.
Do you mean the monsters in the SRD, or the whole dang thing?

Anyway, more likely to get more monsters if this one does well, so I've just bought it.

It's artistic. It catches the eye. It gives each word it's own feel. I likes it.

No need to worry about that - we're doing all of the monsters. John's up to the K's, I think.
