Dr Who Xmas Special 06

Doctor Who is nothing if not repetitive. How many times did they explain the Loch Ness Monster?

Twice.

(1) The skarasen (cyborg milk cow of the zygons).

(2) Forget the scientist's name in Timelash who got fused with a Morlox.

Not only that, but hasn't Atlantis been destroyed something like three different times in three different ways over the years, too?

That's actually a myth; Atlantis was destroyed only once in Doctor Who. One of the Atlantis colonies, though, had this mad scientist guy who wanted to crack the earth by pouring water down to its molten core......

It is funny that the Doctor's plane to defeat the aliens in the Xmas special is the same plan that the Doctor defeated back in his 2nd incarnation. And, since nothing happened as a result of all that water (not even a plume of steam) one wonders why he bothered....! :p

Of course, if he keeps casting interracial couples, it stops being a display of diversity and just becomes...a peculiar inclination.
I have noticed a general trend in British media overall to give us more interracial couples. It's not just Doctor Who.

Seeing how I know two black/white Brit couples (and I don't know that many Brits), I must wonder if it's simply not as uncommon as you think.

Thinking over all the couples I know (I'm a Brit), a lot of them are multiracial (including my own relationship). A smaller proportion of people I know are products of multiracial relationships. The number increases if you include relationships between different European groups (e.g. I'm half English, half Welsh).

The trend seems to be an increase in multiracial relationships, but only in the urban areas. Go to the countryside and suddenly it's 100% white.

That's how I get rid of spiders - wash them down the drain. ;)

I wouldn't mind being in a relationship with some nice English lass (being Asian). In fact, I was head over heels in love with a friend from England some years before. But alas, certain factors prevented me from ever telling her how I felt (long story short, she was married). Oh, how cruel fate can be. :(
