Draconomicon. Worth Buying?

I have it and it is absolutely my FAVORITE 3rd ed book. It has eclipsed the Manual of the Planes. There is so much non-rules detail in there about dragon habits, lifestyles, society. I just love it. There are fully-statted out dragons of every variety and age. Great new feats for dragons (and dragon-slayers). I love the "metabreath" feats. You add some effect to your breath weapon in exchange for more wait time between breaths.

There's also lots of great artwork. Lockwood, baby.

Buy it.

i didn't buy it for the artwork. it is not a comic book.

it is a good purchase. but don't pay full price there are plenty of places on the web and at stores where you can get 10-40% off.

edit: yes, it is one of the better 3.11ed for Workgroups books.

I agree, from what I have seen of the book (got it Tuesday and have been working long days this week) it is a fantastic book. I recommend it!

Dragons are now super dealdy. Increase the CR by 5 if you deck them out w/ these feats, magic items, and spells.

I love it!!!

Dragons were always super deadly when played right. :D

now you have some hints to help you play them right. not all the hints. but at least a few more for DMs lacking that jump in cognizance.

You know diaglo, if I didn't know better, I'd think you were almost starting to like <s>3.5E</s>3.11ed for workgroups.
