I just bought Lords of Madness today, and so far I'm really digging it. However, I am slightly annoyed that I'm going to have to do some rewriting to remover the Spell Jammer influence from the origin information of a few abberations. I'm also really digging the prestige class writeups, espicially the context that was provided for the Order of the Sanctified Mind.

The Lords of Madness is almost totally incompatible with Eberron, which makes me not like it.

Blargle? Substitute Xoriat in for mentions of the Far Realm, add Daelkyr creation concepts and you're done. Its not hard! Besides, Beholders and Grells have gone wild since their creation by the Daelkyr, so they wouldn't need much changing, and the Neogi are from somewhere else entirely.

I never had any fear about Eberronisation of the Abberations, although I did expect a sidebar for each chapter helping people like Victim slot in that material. Its a core book, for Generic Fantasy Setting v1.8, not a setting book.

I wouldn't be suprised if there's a book coming eventually on the Daelkyr for Eberron. Maybe that'll be up your alley Victim. Certainly those beings have enough material associated to fill a book, throw in the Quori and you've got a book on the Cosmic villains for Eberron.
