No. But WotC would.
Um, ok.

I'm not on the inside, so I have no clue beyond what has been released to the public. Every one of these articles in Dragon has a disclaimer on it to the effect of: Any and all of this stuff can be changed or tweaked for the final release. If I happen to be wrong in my assumptions, that's cool as I'm just basing it on what I read, not by any other info that I have received from a playtest or any other kind of info from the designers...

If you have something to say, say it. If not, dont say anything.
Please :-)

OK, I'm sorry. I was not trying to make a big deal. I just saw a train of reasoning going forward that was off the mark. I will just say that you don't have enough information about the polymorph spells at this time.

I did not mean to be tacky, but I see that I came off that way. I did not mean to and I am sorry.

I'll go back to being quiet.

Fair enough. :)

As for not having enough info, I couldn't agree more. However, with the info given in the article I really don't think I was making much of a stretch. Simply going on what was in the article.

Polymorph

Many problems with this spell made it a perfect target for change. Not only did it have multiple printings and clarifications but it was one of the first spells banned from organized play (something I didn't know). The new poloymorph which works on willing targets always a transformation into a living creature (including aberration, animal, dragon, fey, giant, humanoid, magical beast, monsterous humanoid, ooze, plant or vermin). There are HD caps (caster level up to 15). You get the physical characteristics of the creature but not extraordinary, supernatural or spell-like abilities with the exception of extraordinary attack forms. The example given is the polymorphed fighter that is now a troll: he gains the strength and rend characteristics but not regeneration. The spell lasts one minute per level.

Ok notice the bold underlined sentence.

This looks like a typeo but if its HD = to Cater lvl that reallychanges things.

As on now Polymorph is targets HD or 15 which ever is less.

Though the SRD does not say this hmmmmmmm.
