Dragon #335

OOOooh! An article about where D&D undead come from! Yes! And written by our own Ari Marmell! I wonder if it was cut from Heroes of Horror, or just in the spirit of it.

Pun fully intended, I'm sure. ;)

The answer is the latter. It wasn't cut from HoH, but you could certainly put 'em together with minimal fuss. I've got something coming up in Dungeon--not sure if it's going to be in October or not, though--for which the same holds true. :)

The Charlatan prestige class was sweet. The various FR stuff wasn't bad, the magic was pretty nice especially for bards. Looking forward to the annual Horror issue next month though.

The Wormfood article profiles 3 NPCs that could be used as cohorts for a 6th level PC that takes the Leadership feat. They are, apparently, all PCs that play in Erik Mona's playtest game for the AOW campaign.

Indeed.

We're sending 337 to the printer on Monday. It's our annual Horror theme, and I think it just might be my personal favorite issue of Dragon since becoming involved with it.

Good interview with Ed Greenwood in there.

The artile that Eric L. Boyd put together on Waterdeep is more of a look back than an actual article. Good for those looking for all things Waterdeep but disappointing for those who wanted more actual Waterdeep stuff.

Which is okay because that gets handled a little bit elsewhere. Still reading though it, but it looks like they've detailed Blackstaff's organization and added some new bard spells.

Strangely enough, due to the postal delivery to Japan, I received 332 and 333 within days of eachother. Still waiting for 334, although it should be here before September. Hrm, and they just killed the idea of reforming the postal service over here. Sigh.

Sounds interesting though.
