*wonders when Erik will get around to reading some Gregory Keyes and/or James Clemens* Specifically the Kingdoms of Thorn and Bone and The Godslayer's Chronicles. I'd like to see some of that in Dragon.

I will add Keyes to the list. I have been focusing primarily on fantasy and science fantasy from the turn of the century to about 1960, or so lately. Lots of Jack Vance, Otis Adelbert Kline, Gardner F. Fox, C.L. Moore, and Robert E. Howard, lately.

Erik,

That's fine. I'm not against going back to fantasy and sci-fi's roots. I was just hoping (since I'm currently reading these books) they might get a chance to shine.

I'm a big fan of the Kingdoms of Thorn and Bone, but I reckon we can safely wait for another year or so before the final book is out before Dragon needds to cover the series!

Al,

Well not that site no, but I was aware of someone using Psionics as a way to do Naruto type jutsus and other things.

I don't know that there would be one. Eberron is outside the normal cosmology. I've never really felt like it had any connection to the other worlds.

I've always anticipated that it's *beyond* the Far Realm....and the Far Realm is known in Eberron as Xoriat.

There's a leaking hole to the Far Realm in the Ethereal, discussed in the Guide to the Ethereal, and I always figured that's one way characters might get through. Of course, trying to do so most likely ends in the destruction of the characters....hence Eberron is effectively isolated.

True but consider it's more complete than say...Wheel of Time or Goodkind's monstrosity, it's got a decent shot in 2007. :)

Banshee,

Uhm I think Gry didn't realize the article did indeed have mention of a way for the World Serpent Inn to have a semi-permanent link to Eberron.

No reason they can't do something for A Calculus of Angels, though, right? :)
