In far a fare fewer amount of books Wulfgar spends time in the abyss, suffers severe PTSD as a result, which ends his relationship with his fiance, leads to Alcoholism, the loss of his weapon, and a dysfunctional relationship, Then recovers his hammer, gets on the wagon, works to repair said relationship, adopts a child, becomes a widower, and returns the child to her birth mother, before riding off into what I presume was an icy sunset.
Drizzt's character arc is largely fighting the same fights in the same way with a rotation of Drow, Orc, and then Drow again, bad guys. Sure he learns to embrace his love of a human even if her their time together is brief, and to be in a relationship with a non-good Elf even if they don't really love each other, but it doesn't even have the same depth as one of his supporting character's arcs.
