Dragon Compendium Table of Contents

I didn't see it in the list but was wondering if anyone (d20 publishers or fan publish) converted the Path Magic article by Wolfgang Baur to 3.5? I've got the Dragon CD Rom and the original Dragon issue (can't remember off the top of my head which one) but I always used that system in my later 2nd Ed dm'ing years.

A poster here by the name of A'koss did a conversion a while back.

Green Ronin's Advanced Players Manaul has a class called the Eldritch Weaver that is pretty close to a replication of the concept.

Actually, I think a lot of people are saying they are surprised so much is from the last few years, and so little appears to be from earlier. There are a couple people pre-judging it as "sucking", but those of us disappointed by the ToC are for the most part stating we'll check it out. I thought we'd see more older material, so when I didn't, my initial desires and expectations were not met. And, not met in a way that made me say "cool" (before I see it), so I think it is only natural that I, and others, are saying it has moved from must buy to "I'll check it out in the store before buying".

well yes, that would be where i am, and is what i'm advocating to the naysayers before they judge too harshly. ;)

i'm more in the camp of "probably will buy, but if the content is really just not up to my expectation maybe not".

i still don't see how people can declare something to suck sight-unseen without prior similar material to judge it against... but they are doing it en masse, regardless. so i will step out of the way of the angry mob instead. ;)

But it's from the internet, it must be true! Doubly so if it predicts [insert doom and gloom to your flavor]!
