That's from the post Michael Long made, from the Tribality link.

It's five 1st-2nd level encounters, each fairly straightforward, modular but also rooted in FR lore, no grand connecting plot, each encounter meant to provide renown for one of the five FR factions.

An improvement, but Dragon+ still isn't my cup of tea. Dragon magazine it is not.

For everyone complaining about getting it on your computer and printing it out - calm down. They said they're looking to do that. It's not ready yet. It's coming. They heard you. In the mean time, if you really must have it that way, there are various kloogey ways to get it to happen if you research it (nothing illegal, just takes a bunch of steps and third party programs to convert it).

You know, there is this format that works perfectly on both mobile phones, tablets, and desk-/laptop computers. It works on pretty much any operating system out there, and the system requirements are basically irrelevant today.

It's called HTML. Releasing the content from the app as articles on the website would both make them more easily available (without going through a super-clunky app), and fix the common complaint that the D&D website is a barren wasteland that almost never sees any new updates.

But then you give up control over what the user does and you can't force ads on the viewer or monitor what he or she is reading and in what order.

There's a reason why all these apps keep reappearing, just sayin'...

Yeah, it was easy...I downloaded it through the app (didn't check to see if where, could be easy to get to) and the exported it to my google drive.

Bam...a pdf I can do anything with.

Thanks for the link, I didn't even see the adventure when I looked through the "magazine" last night but I didn't have time to look thoroughly at everything. I'll definitely be reading through it this weekend.

I did read the SCAG book article very closely several times and I can't help but wonder now if this book will be followed up with a Realms campaign guide of some sort. The part about the maps not having any "secrets" on them really made me wonder about a future map (and book) with secrets included.

Naw, people are asking for a PDF. HTML is inadequate for a lot of reasons.

It's five 1st-2nd level encounters, each fairly straightforward, modular but also rooted in FR lore, no grand connecting plot, each encounter meant to provide renown for one of the five FR factions.

You probably shouldn't pay for it then. Oh wait...

They already do. Its called "Rise of Tiamat", "Hoard of the Dragon Queen", "Princes of the Apocalypse", "Out of the Abyss", etc...

That's how we'll be getting out "secrets" from now on, methinks.
