One more little caveat:
I was under the impression that, like the 3.x dragonborn, Dragon Breath is only one of several optional abilities. That is, if you don't want a blast power, you can opt for one of several other dragon-related abilities that will boost other aspects of your character, like (perhaps) an encounter-recharge perception reroll or a short-hop flight power.
