The paths might just be for Paragon level characters let me get back on that .

Yes paths are for Paragon level characters.

Your stats are 22 pts for Sturm and 26 pts for Raistlin.

Also, a tactical warlord with INT 13 won't be very tactical. Tactical abilities are based on INT. INT 14, preferably 16 would be needed to simulated tactical insight and ability through the system IMO. Than again, warlord might not be the best pick for Sturm ;)

Thanks Zweischneid,

I'm still learning all this so bare with me haven't read the whole PHB but Will get it done next week. Read but maybe not digested lol. So where do we stand:

Rasitlin - BPB Bialaska
Sturm - BPB Zweischneid
Tanis - wants to BPB Ivid

half way need three more people

EDIT: I must be using the wrong stat build chart Method B right??

Now that is useful WOW!! thanks I guess I was using the wrong chart try these and telll me what you think:

Code:
Sturm: Raistlin:
STR: 15 (+2 racial= 17) STR: 11
CON: 16 CON:10
DEX: 10 DEX: 16
INT: 14 INT:17 (+2 = 19)
WIS: 12 WIS: 13
CHA: 15 CHA: 14

There I think thats right what do you think?

I'd love to get in on this, too, and I'm psyched (but also somewhat heartbroken) to see that Caramon, that lovable oaf, has been left untouched this whole time.

The PHB says on page 17 that you should spend 22 points on increasing your ability scores. With 22 points, here's how I see Caramon:
Str 16
Con 14
Dex 13
Int 8
Wis 10
Cha 14

Caramon is a giant of a man, and is, physically, a powerful juggernaut. Mentally, he's almost helpless, of course. His unexpected ace in the hole is his nurturing instinct, good looks, and friendly attitude, which make him the perfect foil for Raistlin, who needs, exploits, and envies him.

Actually, I'd say I think the stat build for Raistlin before could reflect a higher Wisdom and lower Charisma. Raistlin is pretty put together, and if he makes poor choices it's only because we don't have the same priorities as the mage. His low Charisma comes from his acrid personality, disdain for everyone around him, and complete disinterest in makign friends. In fact, outside of Caramon and Bupu, has Raistlin had a single friend in his whole life?

Maybe his Charisma drops after the Test of High Sorcery, but I don't think 4e makes it easy to cut down your PC's ability scores so this might be hard later.

Welcome ShaggySpellsword, We are currently going over the characters abilities and why they have/had what scores and all please join in with any comments on any of the already posted character stats and post what you believe Tas's would be. And use the link posted by Zweischneid it is really cool (thanks again Z) Use 32 pts and 22 pts trying to see what we get.

And Welcome BendBars/LiftGates,( something a character hasn't had to do in a long long time lol) Glad you want to play. Caramon is one of my favorites as well. He is the archtype fighter he didn't even have a specialty by todays standards. Just big guy taking out the bad guys sometimes by bashing heads together. You are welcome to place your ideals for Caramon (just remember Caramon is smarter and wiser than people give him credit for)

Just thinking maybe Caramon is more warlord(tatical) than Sturm and Sturm is the defender type fighter These new rules will give me a fried brain yet.

Hoopak: treat it as a quarterstaff with a sling attached?

I'd go so far as to say masterwork quarterstaff with attached sling

You don't see to many in the store you know

Actually in 1st edition it was treated as a magical weapon (as to what it could hit) even though it itself wasn't magical
