If you mean when the White was flanked, well he stated she was frenzying and just trying to kill the Fighter, so I don't think escape was on her mind.

Who said something about escaping?
Is there anything which prevents the dragon from using its breath weapon and other abilities while flying?

The red mist over its eyes. Silly Derren.

It might be a "maneuverability" problem. And without a "Fly By Attack"-power, flying wouldn't help that much. The Dragon will either end his move adjacent to an enemy to attack him, or provoke an opportunity attack from trying to fly away (The Fighter's opportunity attacks being especially nasty, since they also stop his movement if he hits.)

Don't bleed and fly?

Can we dial it back a little bit, guys?

I dunno, but the Young Black Dragon has fly 7, so I don't see why a dragon couldn't fly and use breath - but no one's said much about the flying rules, so hopefully nothing strange like "cutting out the third dimension" is put in.

Flying or not, it sounds like that dragon delivered exactly to Xorn's players what they wanted in a game session - pure fun. :)

I like that approach, but I also like the dragons as portrayed in 'Wizard of Earthsea' and I'm generally tempted to give my dragons literally charming voices or eyes, so that there is (a) reasons to talk with a dragon and (b) it is dangerous to talk with a dragon

:)
I forgot about that one ;). Smaug had something like that as well, and to me Smaug is the archetype dragon. Well, since old dragons will have high levels in social skills I suppose they could pull off the hypnotic thing. Either that or a social power (Diplomacy/Intimidate vs Will, hit -> the victim follows one suggestion. Not usable in combat).
