There is still more than a month left in the Dragonstar Adventure Writing Contest! For details, see the announcement here:

Some good questions have been asked about the contest, so I thought I would share those and the answers here.
1) In the stat block, Fort. and Ref. are followed by a . but Will is not. Is that intentional, or should Will also be followed by a .?
Fort. and Ref. are abbreviations, Will is not.
2) Most Entries have : after then (such as HD, hp, and Init) while a couple do not (such as SA, SQ, and AL). Is this intentional or should they too be followed by a :?
Sorry, that's my mistake. Do not put ":" after any of the entries, only after the initial block of name, race, and class info.
3) Whats the format for presenting the specifics of the SA and SQ?
If the SA or SQ is described in the MM, do not bother putting extended explanations. If they differ in any way (such as altered save DCs) or are not described in the MM, then put them beneath skills and feats.
4) How hard is the 10,000 word limit?
Its flexible, but not by much.
5) Should the OGL entry be considered when determining the 10,000 word limit? I am assuming as author its my responsibility to annotate which material I got my OG material from, correct?
The word count limit does not include the OGL. In fact, you don't need to include the OGL with your entry, but please send all copyright info for any OGC you use so I can update the Section 15 on the winner(s).
Good luck!
