Dragonstar game

Not yet, I dont think we'll play for a few more weeks. My friend and I take turns DMing. This week its the Forgotten Realms. I'll post an update here and start a story hour. I did play Living Dragonstar on Saturday and that was really fun. I got the modules afterwards and learned a bit more about the setting.

Living Dragonstar is an RPGA campaign set in the Dragonstar universe. You need to be a RPGA member. See www.rpga.com There are two modules so far for the game. See aslo the Living Dragonstar section on the FFG Dragonstar site.

The two out so far were fun! I'm waiting to play the thrid one which should be out anytime now.

Not understanding the RPGA how does one get these? I'm willing to pay to join the RPGA just to have the chance to buy these adventures.

There will be modules publicaly available from Thunderhead games and another d20 publisher at GenCon.

You have to play the RPGA modules that you "order" from the RPGA.

Afraid I don't understand.... I know about Mystic Eye's and Thunderhead's adventures, but I don't wanna wait for them. What's the deal with the RPGA, explain it to me like I'm stupid becuase well, you see,..... ;)

For more info on the RPGA go here: http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=rpga

Otherwise the Living Dragonstar page at http://www.fantasyflightgames.com/lds.html has a fair synopsis of everything about the Living Dragonstar setting and a brief bit about the RPGA.

Basically to order an RPGA adventure you have to be a member of the RPGA (which you can take care of online, for $5). Once you have your membership number, you can order adventures, which cost you another few bucks and you download them in PDF format. When you order the adventure, you fill in exactly where you will be playing it, and then you're supposed to report the results of the game back to the RPGA so they know how many people are playing which adventures. Also, for some adventures (including the final adventure in the first season of LDS) you can fill in a form telling the campaign staff how the adventure went, and the results will affect the future of the storyline.

The fact that you're supposed to report results makes for a little more work for you, but it's very useful information for the RPGA, and it helps us! The more people who play in Living Dragonstar games, the more adventures we'll be able to have next year.

But I mean, I can still order them right? Without messing up your stuff too much? Don't have a group at the moment so I can't run them but plan to someday.

Ask around at your local gaming store for people..The rpga can send you numbers for everyone to report the results...
I agree 100% with what Brian said :)
